Concert: Divanhana

For lovers of traditional  Bosnian music and excellent beer, on Saturday, August 12th 2017, in Pivnica HS there will be a concert of the famous band Divanhana, starting at 21.00pm.

Divanhana performs traditional music in new arrangements created with the influence of jazz, pop and classical music of the 20th century. In 2009 the band founded a group of young students of the Music Academy in Sarajevo, intending to nurture traditional urban music from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Balkan countries, with a special focus on sevdalinka. Also, they cooperated with Walter Quintus, one of the most prominent European world music producers, who produced Divanhan’s debut album.
