The Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library

 

The Gazi Husrev-bey’s Library, founded in 1537, is one of the oldest institutions of science and culture in the region of Western Europe and the Balkans. The library also houses a modernly equipped museum, featuring over 1,200 museum exhibits that talk about the civilization of letters, the religious and everyday life of Bosnian Muslims.
