Alen Makota is Sarajevan living in Düsseldorf.
He started experimenting with photography in 2014, he is a self-taught photographer and a big photography enthusiast, who has invested a lot of effort in learning and his skills have advanced through the years.
After a while, people began to notice his photographs, and his hometown is his favorite motif.
Sarajevo is the city where he started and the city he made his first photographs in, he says: “although it is not a perfect city, I am able to record it and present it the best way I can”.
“Sarajevo Photographers” is a series of texts about professional or amateur photographers who are telling stories about Sarajevo through their photographs.
