Top tennis Coach visits Sarajevo

Antonio Nadal Homar, the coach of current world number one tennis player Rafael Nadal is spending this weekend in Sarajevo. Today he spent time exploring the city sights and getting to know more about the local history.

 

Toni Nadal visited the old part of the city, the City Hall, Sarajevo Museum and the Bey’s Mosque. “I heard a lot about Sarajevo as an Olympic city, but I never imagined the city with a real soul. The rich and vibrant history captures you at the first glance. It would be nice to come back again”, said Nadal.

 

Nadal’s visit to Sarajevo did not go unnoticed. Numerous tourists as well as locals wanted to meet the famous coach and a lot of photos were taken.

 

“We are pleased that, thanks to GPTCA Association and the Tennis Association of BiH, top tennis coach Toni Nadal has visited Sarajevo. This is of great value for the promotion of our city. We tried to present Sarajevo in the best possible way enabling him not just to see the sights, but also to feel the atmosphere and experience the hospitality of Sarajevans”, said Nermin Muzur, President of Tourism Association of Canton Sarajevo.

 

Toni Nadal is on a three day visit to Sarajevo to attend the seminar for tennis coaches held at the BiH Olympic Committee in Zetra complex. Nadal’s arrival to Sarajevo was organized by Ismar Gorčić, the President of the Professional Tennis Coaches Association and the Tennis Association of BiH.
