This monumental building was built in 1551 by Rustem-pasha the Great Vizier of Sulejman Magnificent. The facility was used to sell the silk that the founder himself produced in Bursa. The gallery of Bezistan exhibits artefacts from the Ottoman period (the most expensive is the equipment of the Ottoman warrior) and the times of the Austro-Hungarian administration in Sarajevo.
